Getting Started
What is your primary objective: new
look, more storage, more counter space, add - eat in area, enlarge kitchen, upgrade for resale, etc.?
1. Make a list of the things you like &
don't like about your current or past kitchens.
2. Look at our Gallery pages, magazines,
other homes, other show rooms for ideas that you like. Take these ideas to
your designer.
3. What kind of cabinets do you want?
(Low Quality Builder Grade, Middle Quality Semi-Custom, Quality Custom)
Also, think about wood species, color & style.
4. Think about what kind of countertop you
prefer. (Plastic Laminate, Solid Surface Veneer, Solid Surface, Ceramic
Tile, Granite, or our favorite: Askilan Quartz

5. Decide what types of appliances you
want. Acquire measurements of the appliances you intend to include in your
new kitchen, this information will be needed by your designer.
6. A diagram with measurements of your
existing kitchen will be needed by your designer.
7. Call CBI for help & friendly advice
on all the above choices & options.
